Welcome Back, Mavericks!
We’re excited to welcome all new and returning students, faculty, and staff to UTA for the Spring 2026 semester! The start of a new term brings energy, new opportunities—and yes, busier parking lots. But with a little planning, your parking experience can be smooth and stress-free.
UTA Parking Finder
Parking is easier with UTA Parking Finder. Access real-time and predicted future occupancy for over 60% of campus parking lots. You’ll also see where you’re eligible to park based on your permit type.
Pro Tip: Use this before you leave for campus to plan your arrival and find the best available parking spots.
Parking Tips for a Smooth Start
Arriving before 10 A.M.:
You’ll find parking without delay! Follow guidance from Parking Ambassadors, and watch for digital signs providing real-time updates.
Arriving after 10 A.M.:
Head straight to these high-availability areas:
- Faculty/Staff: Lot 34 and Lot 38
- Student Commuters:
- West Zone: Lots along Greek Row behind Arbor Oaks, University Village.
- East Zone: College Park Garages and lot 36.
- South Zone: Lots 51 & 50.
The first two weeks tend to be the busiest. Check Parking Finder to monitor lot availability throughout the morning and adjust your routine as needed.
Reminder: Park only in lots designated for your permit type—entrance signs at each lot clearly indicate which permits are allowed.
